This agreement defines the terms and conditions for Slic.com Internet Services (Slic.com) to provide to the undersigned person, the services requested on the Slic.com Internet Services application form or by written request, access and services commonly known as Internet services.

I understand that Slic.com may change its prices from time to time, and that I will be provided 15 days notice of any such changes.

If I am subscribing to a Dialup Access Account, I agree that my Dialup Access Account is a personal account, to be used only by me. I agree to maintain my password as private and confidential information. I agree to have only one instance of my account logged on at any one time.

If I am subscribing to Web Hosting service, I understand that my Homepage / Webpage is located on Slic.com property and use of Slic.com’s bandwidth as a convenience to me. I will abide by Slic.com’s judgment on appropriate content, links to other sites, and activity concerning my Homepage / Webpage while it is on Slic.com’s computer and/or under Slic.com’s maintenance and/or use of Slic.com’s connection to the Internet.

If I am subscribing to Personal / Non-Profit Homepage service, I agree not to use my homepage for commercial use. I understand that if I use the homepage for commercial use or sale of items or services, I will be billed for a commercial homepage.

If I am subscribing to a Dedicated Account, I understand that my connection to the Internet is through the property of Slic.com’s bandwidth connection to the Internet, and I will abide by Slic.com’s judgment on appropriate content and activity concerning my dedicated account while it is under Slic.com’s maintenance and/or use of Slic.com’s connection to the Internet.

I understand that I will be billed at the beginning of the month for that month’s service. I will be billed in advance for the upcoming month’s service. I will also be billed for my first partial month’s service my first bill. I understand that payment will be due ten(10) days after the billing date. I understand that this agreement is in effect upon my signing and is automatically renewed each month. I understand that I can change the type of service I have, provided I contact Slic.com customer service at least five (5) business days before the end of the month. I understand the new service will take effect on the beginning of the next month. I understand that I may cancel my service at anytime by contacting Slic.com’s customer service at least five (5) business days before the end of the month and that my service will be terminated no later than two business days after the termination was requested and that I will be responsible to pay the amount outstanding at the time of cancellation. I will be billed a $15 re-activation fee if my account is terminated for credit or collection reasons and I wish to reactivate. I understand that this fee does not apply to me if my account is canceled for any other reason.

I agree to use my account in a way that conforms to all applicable laws and regulations. I specifically agree not to make any attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network.

I understand that Slic.com maintains a reasonable but limited number of modems. I understand that I may from time to time receive a busy signal when trying to access my account. I understand that in order to control abuse of the shared modem pool, my session on my Slic.com account will hang-up after thirty (30) continuous minutes of inactivity and that I will not intentionally abuse the use of the shared modem pool by tying up a modem for more than thirty (30) continuous minutes when I am not using the Internet services. I may establish or re-establish my connection my dialing into Slic.com at any time provided there is at least one modem not in use when I dial in. I understand that from time to time, Slic.com will perform scheduled maintenance on the system that may interrupt my ability to connect during that period of maintenance. Slic.com will announce scheduled maintenance when possible and perform unscheduled maintenance when circumstances require it.

I understand that the information available through Slic.com or interconnecting networks may not be accurate. I understand that some of the information available through Slic.com or interconnecting networks may be intended for adult audiences. I understand that internetworking communications are not secure, and may be subject to interception or loss. Slic.com makes no warranties of any kind, implied, or statutory concerning the data or information available through the Slic.com network, except clearly expressed warranties of security. I understand that the use of my Slic.com account, and any data or information accessed using that account, will be completely at my own risk. I understand that the cumulative liability of Slic.com for any and all claims relating to the services provided by Slic.com, in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount of the basic service fees paid to Slic.com for services within the prior year. I agree that Slic.com shall have no liability for the services, data or information made available to me, including any liability for any consequential, indirect, special or incidental damages regardless of the success or effectiveness of other remedies.

I understand that Slic.com reserves the right to terminate my account at any time, for any reason, including, but not limited to, my failure to abide by the terms of this agreement or my failure to pay any fees or charges when due. I understand that violation of certain generally accepted guidelines on Internet usage, such as restrictions on mass mailings and mass advertising, may cause severe difficulties for Slic.com and would be a likely cause for the termination of my account.

This agreement represents the complete agreement between Slic.com and myself and supersedes any other written or oral agreement. The terms of this agreement may only be changed in writing and any changes must be signed by both Slic.com and myself.
